When deploying the PowerQuick Ascender and conducting other rescue and climbing operations one frequent challenge is how to place the primary climbing line. The Plumett Pneumatic Launcher answers the challenge.
Brought to the US exclusively by PowerQuick, Inc. Plumett Pneumatic Launchers have been in service for over 20 years. Tried and tested, they offer proven technology for throwing climbing ropes and grappling hooks over long distances. Powered with a compressed air cylinder, the units are manufactured in military and commercial versions.
- Calibers from 35mm to 95mm
- Shoulder fired and ground fired versions
- Variable firing pressure
- Constructed from aluminum and stainless steel
- Hard anodized aluminum components
- Suitable for marine operations.
- Can be fully immersed in seawater without detriment to its operating life.
- Silenced versions for covert operations (Sales restricted to military and law enforcement agencies)
- Boat arrester for propeller entanglement operations.
We supply a range of rope ladders that can be deployed by the Plumett Launchers. The ladders are constructed from woven polyester webbing with carbon fiber rungs which results in a ladder that is extremely strong and that holds its shape while being climbed.
A feature of this type of ladder is that it is easily packed into the firing canister of the launcher and does not have any tendency to become twisted or tangled.
The maximum lengths than can be fired by each air launcher are as follows:
AL 6309 @ 80 bar 20 meters/65 feet
AL 50NS @ 120 bar 20 meters/65 feet
AL 95 @ 100 bar 30 meters/98 feet
Manufactured in the UK.
